What was your motivation to start your business?
I was skilled in health care and wanted to help people with a natural therapy approach. I wanted to serve seniors and clients in my home spa and offer mobile service.
How has being an entrepreneur improved your life?
I am grateful for my success and the ability to generate income to sustain life. I enjoy one-to-one client interaction, working hours I want, and making others feel better.
What does it mean to be a business owner?
It has taken hard work and discipline, and stressful at times. But....over almost 20 years, I have been grateful and humble.
Many people say it is easy to start a business. What do you think about it?
It takes a lot of work doing several roles as your boss, but it is also rewarding.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Achieving a brand new Corvette Stingray last year, surviving cancer twice, and taking time to inspire others, anything is possible with faith and determination.
What words of wisdom did you receive as a child still apply today in business?
Work hard, and you will do well.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Keep the balance; sometimes, less is more. Don't sweat the small stuff.
